The kitchen

The team at The yellow house takes great pride in preparing everything we serve with the freshest ingredients, seasonal produce, fresh fish and British meats and game.

All our stocks, sauces - even our ketchup! - the soups, fresh pastas, organic breads, cakes, puddings and ice creams are made by us on our premises.

We offer three menus – the restaurant two-course menu, the grill menu and the pizza menu – which are available in two separate dining rooms, the larger grill and pizza dining room and the smaller restaurant dining room.

Our menus include the house char grilled beef burgers and rib-eye steak with hand-cut chips and salad, a selection of "Italian" style 100% wood fired pizzas and a restaurant menu of favourite dishes inspired by classic French and Mediterranean cuisine.

Our beef burgers are made by us using a secret recipe and the best quality British beef, which are char grilled to order and served with our hand-cut chips and fresh baby leaf salad.

Our pizza dough is made daily using organic flour and fresh yeast, which are baked in our 100% wood fired oven imported from Italy - we think you’ll agree ours are probably the best pizzas this side of the river!
