Bordeaux Masterclass wine tasting
Following the success of the recent Bordeaux Wine Dinner, we have arranged for Patricia Green, who is an International Bordeaux Educator, to lead a "Bordeaux Masterclass" wine tasting at
The yellow house on Wednesday 16 November, 2011.
Patricia has chosen six wines from the Bordeaux Wines 'high street' selection, which she helped to judge earlier this year, and two Bordeaux red wines from our suppliers' lists.
You can see the current Everyday Bordeaux List at: www.goodfoodwouldchoosebordeaux.com.
This selection of eight wines includes two dry white wines, one sweet white and five red wines, several being premium wines, matched with snacks prepared by the team at The yellow house.
The Masterclass will include a comparison of left bank and right bank Clarets and of two different vintages of a fine Cru Bourgeois.
This wine tasting should provide a good insight into Bordeaux wine-making and the wines produced in each region of Bordeaux, which should also help with your Christmas wine buying decisions!
Tickets for this Bordeaux Masterclass and tasting are £20 each, which includes the wines and snacks served and the professional tuition. Each ticket also entitles you to a £5 discount per bottle of wine ordered with a meal after the Masterclass on 16 November.
